Jumping Again ❤️
My name is Kia, I grew up in the Tri - Areas in New Jersey, although I was born and raised in Newark, but my family has moved around and I attended several school until my family finally settled in one area. When i was 10 years old my sister and I jumped double dutch almost everyday during the summertime along with friends and we had competition almost everyday. I enjoyed jumping and hula hoop, played checkers, racing, kickball and tag football when I was younger. I enjoyed jumping the most, it gives me the passion that I can do it whenever I put my mind to never give up.
I attended the DDC 40+ Sistas Club yesterday 12/5/24, I the presences, greetings, laughter, support of teaching and communication was everything. I enjoyed myself and have to get more practice jumping again. The hula hoop was heavy and great way…

I'm a School Counselor in Hampton Roads. I am interested in the Hampton Roads sub club coming to speak and teach my students about Double Dutch. We are talking about self-care, and I thought this would be a great activity for them.

Hi Ebony, Unfortunately we do not have a sub club in the Hampton Roads area at this time. Exactly where are you located in Hampton Roads?
